High school students gather in Washington Square Park to honor the lives of 72 trans people who died during the past year on Trans Remembrance Day, Monday, November 20.
The activist group Gays Against Guns, silent and veiled in white, holds the pictures of trans people who lost their lives to gun violence in the past year.

Protestors gathered outside of a Queens Library branch in Jackson Heights on Thursday afternoon in defense of Drag Queen Story Hour, which has come under attack nationally from the far-right.
