I am a journalist based in New York City, with a passion for reporting on immigration, local news, and the LGBTQ community. I’m also a proud multi-generational New Yorker.
I hold a Master’s in Bilingual Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor’s in Spanish-language literature from Reed College.
I am the recipient of the 2024 Sidney Hillman Award for Social Justice Reporting and co-recipient of the Ñ Award for Student Print/Online Journalism from the National Association for Hispanic Journalists
My work has been published in Univisión, City Limits, Gay City News, Documented, NACLA, Reportar Sin Miedo in Honduras, and more. I am currently a news reporter for Upper East Site, and a regular contributor to Gay City News and W42ST.
When I’m not busy reporting I’m probably reading a novel, crocheting a new hat, or on my yoga mat.
